We have developed numerous programs, events, classes and biblical counseling to help walk you and your family through any of life’s journeys. We can’t wait to meet you!
Marriage Retreats
We have several retreats throughout the year at a cozy cabin in Munds Park.
Fast Break Retreat
A quick getaway to the pines to refresh and enrich your marriage. These retreats are more intimate, with only a few couples attending. Curriculum is formatted to address your specific interests and needs. Watch the calendar for scheduled retreats, or request a date and we’ll make it happen.
Marriage Intensives

Marriage Madness
A fun March Madness theme where we combine the fun of the college basketball championships with marriage principles from Scripture. Be ready to fill out your brackets and talk marriage. This group is limited to eight couples (or in bracketology terms, The elite eight), so get your tickets to the game early!
A Time for Us
Open Door offers A Time for Us marriage retreats several times a year. Three progressive levels offer powerful relationship principles and intentional time together as a couple. They are outstanding opportunities to revitalize, nourish, and strengthen your marriage. During these weekends, you will discover keys to develop trust, meet each other’s needs, effectively communicate in your marriage, and fulfill the beautiful intentions God placed upon your marriage specifically.

THE LIVING ROOM
Six weeks of Marriage Refinement
Join us in the Living Room for six weeks of marriage fun! We will meet on weekly on Mondays, from 7:00-8:30pm, off-campus at our home.
The evening will have a format where the men and women first meet separately and then all join together. We will discuss topics and issues that serve to refine, refresh and lift up our relationships in Christ and with one another.

Marriage and FAMILY Classes
PRE- MARRIED
This 8-week series of Sunday morning classes cover a variety of relevant topics and Biblical principles and is designed specifically for engaged couples. This class is how we provide premarital counseling and is mandatory for anyone intending to be married at ODF. In addition to valuable teaching, each engaged couple is paired with a married couple for a mentoring relationship. Pre-registration is required. There is a small registration and materials fee for this series. Check the ODF Calendar to see future dates. Contact Tom and Marcia Kuyper if you are engaged or thinking about getting engaged!

THE Legacy
A community for those who are empty nesters. The kids have left the house and you are venturing into new season. Come join us and find out what God has for you in this next chapter.

Marriage COUNSELING
Tom and Marcia are available for marriage, family and individual counseling(Issues such as addiction, depression, anxiety, grief, life skills...etc). The counseling ministry of Open Door Fellowship Church exists to help individuals and families find truth and healing through the truth of God’s Word and experience the fullness of God’s grace in their lives. It is designed in line with preaching, teaching, and other ministries in meeting the needs of our church family. We always welcome an initial meeting and if we find we are not equipped to meet needs, we refer to professional counselors.
